Amy Howko  

Amy Howko was born in Marquette Michigan and has studied art at Northern Michigan University, Spokane Art School and Corbin Arts Center in Washington state. Amy is employed as a social worker and resides in Washington state with her husband, writer Jonathan Johnston and 10 year old daughter Anya Howko-Johnson.
Ms. Howko states: "I take photographs as a way of searching the bigger scheme to find what I want to see and remember later. I'm interested is the stories that can be inferred from a photograph, in what a moment in a person or place's existence can say about what remains unseen."
